Any good inexpensive anniversary gifts for a gay couple of 3 years?

   try buying a picture frame and write a poem or a song lyric that can describe their relationship, hey you said inexpensive!!!!

   well it depends on what you think is inexpensive.

   you can take him out to dinner, get a bottle of wine and then head home.
   if he likes theatre then there are some shows aren’t THAT expensive
   you could get him a piece of silver jewelry (ring, necklace, etc)
   you could also just get him some flowers, cook at home, put on comfy clothes and watch movies, play games, whatever you guys like to do.

   as long as it shows some effort on your part it will be special.

   Set up a tent in your back yard and pretend to be camping, set up picnick, wine, food, candles, sleep in the tent…
   It’s fun and cheap, and it will show him you’ve put time and thought into it.

   Or, get a photo album and print out a ton of pics of just you and him and things you’ve done, in meaningful places.

   Make a cake out of simple cake mix, buy loads of the Haribo love hearts, cover the cake with sticky icing and then cover it with love hearts, like EVRYWHERE Funnily enough I had a thought that I might one day do this someone before I even found your question, lol :L

   A nice candlelit dinner at home with a bottle of red wine and a cake from the bakery. That can be under $50 and it will seem so elegant and thoughtful, and homemade. And the winner of all if you live together a pet. Like a kitten or a puppy that shows commitment and warmth. At a shelter you could find a pet for less than you think.

   If your giving to a gay couple then I would say anything goes. Try to give something that resembles both personalities. And if all else fails a gift card to their fave. restaurant. If they live together there’s always homey items, like wine sets, towel sets, or a plant. If they live apart I would stick with the restaurant gift card. Good Luck

   I also think a homemade dinner is a good idea. Shop for the ingrediants before hand and you two can make the dinner together, it’s a fun couple thing to do together. Add a bottle of wine and it’s a perfect evening together.

   Shankada: I *strongly* advise against the pet idea. Pets should never be given as gifts. Pets are a serious, lifelong commitment. If serious, the person who will responsible for the pet will adopt the pet he/she chooses when he/she is ready to commit to that responsibility. I don’t mean to be a downer, I liked your dinner idea, but not the idea of the pet.
