What are some anniversary ideas/gifts I can give to my wife while at Myrtle Beach?
ByMy wife and I are going to Myrtle for our 5th anniversary, and I want to get her something special. I’ve already overdone flowers and chocolate; I need something original. It’s in a couple of weeks, and I am running out of time. Thanks for your help.
I probably will go broke 
, but we are going on the trip with my parents (who are celebrating their 25th anniversary). So while it’s going to be a nice trip, I still want to give something to her or do something with just her.

she is your wife not a girlfriend so she would love a gift who shows that you still love her after 5 years the same even more. so if i wear you i would prepare a short movie of all the time you just met til the day you got married til today. with a song you both maybe love. thats the most amazing thing you can give her. hope you have some ideas:)
STOP Andrew. If you keep this up you will end up broke. Give her your time & undivided attention. Romance & tell her all the crap she needs to hear (she is beautiful, she is sexy, bla bla). Words are free, If she is taking accounting of "stuff" then give her a divorce now.

Maybe I am not a typical woman but I don’t enjoy flowers. Sure they are nice every now and then…. but I do LOVE chocolate!! (very typical of a woman LOL). I agree give her your time, and love and emotions…. let her know how truly unique and special of a woman she is and the true love you 2 share. Is there something she has been wanting that isn’t flowers, chocolate, or jewelry. Like ipod, a kindle, or computer. Maybe you could get her a digital photo frame and put a bunch of pics of y’all on it (and kids if there are any). I hope I have helped, and sorry if not. Or if you are trying to be romantic with it, maybe a personalized piece of jewelry??

Take her to Brookgreen Gardens while in Myrtle Beach. It’s a lovely place to visit. I also like Huntington Beach State Park across the street from Brookgreen Gardens. You can see alligators, an old Spanish castle, as well as a beautiful beach in its natural state (no buildings and still has the dunes).
Also visit Market Commons which is a newer place with a cinema, some shops and restaurants, a lake, etc. It’s a nice little community for a stroll in the evening. The boardwalk in Myrtle Beach was just recently opened as well and is a nice place to visit. I like to go there in the morning or evening. I used to live in Myrtle Beach until last fall (lived there about 6 years).
For our anniversaries we do not do gifts, we think of special trips to take together and either spend the day or a weekend together. The trip can be your gift.
