What do most married couples do on their first anniversary in terms of giving gifts? Are we suppodsed to buy a gift ONLY made of paper, or do people buy a couple/few gifts?

We will be together 1 year on january 14th. We are 17 years old and in a long distance relationship so we cant be together for our 1 year. I’ve already gotten him a nice necklace for his birthday and a pic of us with a nice watch for christmas.
