Which acne kit really works?

By

Ok so my anniversary is in about three weeks and everything is ready, except my face!! I have been breaking out because of the stress of school and the sweat (hot arizona weather). I know all skin types are different but which has worked for you or which do you recommend to work quick? Ive heard of proactive and skinid and clean&clear advantage kit, and max foam but do any of them work? Also im not sure if id want proactive cuz some people mentioned it made it worse! :O any info is appreciated icon biggrin Which acne kit really works?

I think the clean and clear kit works.
I’m not sure since I’m using the clean and clear acne continuous control 5% BP and the daily moisturiser and it has cleared up my acne.
I wouldn’t say it cured it, but it has removed my existing acne.
I still do get a pimple or two from time to time due to hormones.

My skin is normal, before it was dry but after using aveeno daily moisturiser my skin was neither dry or oily.
I’m not sure if it’ll work for you, but I guess you can give it a try? icon biggrin Which acne kit really works?

Most definitely. Proactive was horrible. For me it worked, and then after a couple days, it seemed to irritate my skin. I don’t have acne anymore, but what worked was something called, Derma Klear-Skin Health. It’s good because it’s not creme or anything you have to RUB on your face. They’re pills. All natural supplements and thank god I found them. All those large named brands NEVER worked. But the MAIN thing that helped me out what drinking A LOT of water. Once I started drinking a lot of water, my acne cleared and it went away. Sometimes for some people, medicine won’t help. Hope you take what I told you into consideration.

My sister has acne problems too..she was using proactive but like you said it made it worst….so now she is using green tea to treat the acne and so far it’s helping… also it depends on what kind of skin you have.. Try using proactive and if it only make it worst return it and try using the green tea.. I dont know the brand name, I would tell you but my sister keeps it in her room so idk… Good Luck!

I took accutane (isotretinoin) when I was a kid – prescribed by a dermatologist but it got rid of all of it including my face, neck, back and chest within days You can read about it here http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0000532/ If you get it prescribed you will have to get blood work done quite often ( for me it raised my triglycerides through the roof and had to take another med for that lol ) after being on it for a while you can stop taking it and the acne usually wont come back. Also dermatologists get the good creams that work really well and quick if your acne isn’t very severe (those were the only ones that would even help at all)
