In honor of the 25th anniversary of the release of Super Mario Bros, Nintendo of Japan has produced this video showing the history of everyone’s favorite super plumber.

HAPPY 25th Anniversary! the Super Mario Bros. series is one of the best! a lot of wonderful memories and nostalgia here. I think that Super Mario World and Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island (Super Nintendo) are my two favorites and I would really love to try Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2!:)

I like how the evolution of the experience is shown. I can’t believe we have gotten this far… Back when I played Mario Bros. I thought we would have had a world wide Apocalypse by now!! Mario Galaxy has truly been the next step and I’m excited to see where we will be in another 25 years!
